Generate and view schedule-related reports for planning and analysis.
Time Required: 5-10 minutes per report Module: Timetable User Role: Timetable Manager, Admin
Overview
Timetable reports provide:
- Schedule summaries by batch/faculty
- Workload analysis
- Room utilization statistics
- Session history and attendance correlation
- Conflict reports
Available Reports
Faculty Schedule Report
View individual faculty timetables:
- Go to Timetable > Reports > Faculty Schedule
- Select faculty member
- Choose date range
- Click Generate
Report shows:
- Weekly class schedule
- Total teaching hours
- Subject distribution
- Room assignments
Batch Schedule Report
View batch timetable:
- Go to Timetable > Reports > Batch Schedule
- Select course and batch
- Choose week or date range
- Click Generate
Report includes:
- Complete weekly schedule
- Subject and faculty details
- Room information
- Break periods
Workload Analysis
Faculty Workload
- Go to Reports > Faculty Workload
- Select academic period
- Generate report

Room Utilization
Utilization Report
- Go to Reports > Room Utilization
- Select building or all rooms
- Choose date range
- Generate report

- View available rooms

Session Summary
- Go to Reports > Session Summary
- Filter options:

- Go to Reports > Cancelled Sessions
- View all cancellations
- Filter by reason
- Identify patterns

Custom Reports
Create Custom Report
- Go to Settings > Technical > Reports
- Clone existing timetable report
- Modify fields and layout
- Save custom report
Report Builder
For Enterprise users:
- Use Report Builder module
- Select timetable data model
- Choose fields to include
- Configure grouping and sorting
- Save and run report
Troubleshooting
Report shows no data
Problem: Generated report is empty.
Solutions:
- Check date range includes sessions
- Verify filter selections
- Ensure sessions exist for criteria
- Check user access permissions
Slow report generation
Problem: Large reports take long time.
Solutions:
- Narrow date range
- Add more specific filters
- Generate during off-peak hours
- Export raw data for local analysis
PDF format issues
Problem: PDF not formatting correctly.
Solutions:
- Try different page orientation
- Adjust page size
- Reduce columns or date range
- Use Excel export instead
