Generate and view schedule-related reports for planning and analysis.

Time Required: 5-10 minutes per report Module: Timetable User Role: Timetable Manager, Admin


Overview

Timetable reports provide:

  • Schedule summaries by batch/faculty
  • Workload analysis
  • Room utilization statistics
  • Session history and attendance correlation
  • Conflict reports

Available Reports

Faculty Schedule Report

View individual faculty timetables:

  1. Go to Timetable > Reports > Faculty Schedule
  2. Select faculty member
  3. Choose date range
  4. Click Generate

Report shows:

  • Weekly class schedule
  • Total teaching hours
  • Subject distribution
  • Room assignments

Batch Schedule Report

View batch timetable:

  1. Go to Timetable > Reports > Batch Schedule
  2. Select course and batch
  3. Choose week or date range
  4. Click Generate

Report includes:

  • Complete weekly schedule
  • Subject and faculty details
  • Room information
  • Break periods

Workload Analysis

Faculty Workload

  1. Go to Reports > Faculty Workload
  2. Select academic period
  3. Generate report

Room Utilization

Utilization Report

  1. Go to Reports > Room Utilization
  2. Select building or all rooms
  3. Choose date range
  4. Generate report

Availability Report

Check room availability:

  1. Select date and time slot
  2. View available rooms
  3. Filter by capacity
  4. Book directly from report

Session Reports

Session Summary

  1. Go to Reports > Session Summary
  2. Filter options:

Report shows:

  • Total sessions scheduled
  • Sessions completed
  • Sessions cancelled
  • Cancellation reasons

Cancelled Sessions

  1. Go to Reports > Cancelled Sessions
  2. View all cancellations
  3. Filter by reason
  4. Identify patterns

Custom Reports

Create Custom Report

  1. Go to Settings > Technical > Reports
  2. Clone existing timetable report
  3. Modify fields and layout
  4. Save custom report

Report Builder

For Enterprise users:

  1. Use Report Builder module
  2. Select timetable data model
  3. Choose fields to include
  4. Configure grouping and sorting
  5. Save and run report

Troubleshooting

Report shows no data

Problem: Generated report is empty.

Solutions:

  1. Check date range includes sessions
  2. Verify filter selections
  3. Ensure sessions exist for criteria
  4. Check user access permissions

Slow report generation

Problem: Large reports take long time.

Solutions:

  1. Narrow date range
  2. Add more specific filters
  3. Generate during off-peak hours
  4. Export raw data for local analysis

PDF format issues

Problem: PDF not formatting correctly.

Solutions:

  1. Try different page orientation
  2. Adjust page size
  3. Reduce columns or date range
  4. Use Excel export instead
