Create a Scholarship

Define scholarship programs with eligibility criteria, award amounts, and application process.

Time required: 10-15 minutes

Prerequisites

• Scholarship Manager role
• Scholarship types configured
• Courses and batches set up

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Scholarships

1. Go to OpenEduCat → Scholarship → Scholarships
2. Click Create

Step 2: Enter Scholarship Details

Name	Yes	Scholarship name	”Merit Scholarship 2024”
Type	Yes	Scholarship category	”Merit-Based”
Amount	Yes	Award amount	50,000
Number Available	No	Total awards	10

Step 3: Define Eligibility

Criteria	Description
Courses	Eligible courses
Min CGPA	Minimum GPA required
Max Income	Family income limit (need-based)
Year of Study	1st year, 2nd year, etc.

Step 4: Set Application Period

End Date	Application deadline
Documents Required	Transcripts, income proof, etc.

Step 5: Configure Selection Process

Selection Criteria	How winners are chosen
Interview Required	Yes/No
Review Committee	Approving authority

Step 6: Save Scholarship

Click Save to create the scholarship.

Application Management

After creating:

1. Students apply via portal or form
2. Review applications
3. Shortlist candidates
4. Approve awards
