View Quiz Results

Review student quiz attempts, analyze performance, and manage grades.

Time required: 5-10 minutes per quiz

Prerequisites

• Faculty or Quiz Manager role
• Quiz has been attempted
• Grading access for manual questions

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Results

1. Go to OpenEduCat -> Quiz -> Quiz Results
2. Filter by quiz or student
3. View results list

Step 2: View Results Summary

Grade Manual Questions

For essay or short-answer questions:

1. Open result details
2. Go to Manual Grading section
3. For each question:
   • Read student response
   • Enter points (0 to max)
   • Add feedback
4. Click Submit Grades
5. Final score calculated

Result Analysis

Individual Performance

View student metrics:

• Score distribution
• Time per question
• Correct vs incorrect
• Comparison to average

Class Performance

Aggregate analysis:

• Average score
• Score distribution
• Question difficulty
• Common mistakes

Result Actions

Allow Retake

If retakes permitted:

1. Click Allow Retake
2. Attempt count reset
3. Student can try again

Invalidate Attempt

For academic integrity issues:

1. Click Invalidate
2. Enter reason
3. Attempt marked invalid
4. Doesn’t count in grade

Override Score

Adjust final score:

1. Click Override Score
2. Enter new score
3. Add justification
4. Save changes

Troubleshooting

Results not showing

Check:

• Quiz was submitted
• Results are published
• You have view permissions

Score calculation error

Verify:

• All questions have point values
• Manual grading complete
• No system errors logged
