Manage Placement Applications

Process student applications for job opportunities and track through the recruitment pipeline.

Time required: 5-10 minutes per application

Prerequisites

• Placement Manager role
• Job announcements created
• Student applications received

View Applications

Step 1: Access Application List

1. Go to Placement → Applications
2. Or from announcement, click Applications stat button

Step 2: Filter Applications

Filter	Purpose
By Announcement	Applications for specific job
By Stage	Applications at specific step
By Student	Find specific student

Process an Application

Step 1: Open Application

Click on application record to view details.

Step 2: Review Details

Section	Information
Student Info	Name, contact, profile
Cover Letter	Student’s application letter
Resume	Attached documents
Scores	Test and interview scores

Step 3: Enter Scores

Step 4: Advance Stage

Move application through pipeline by:

• Kanban: Drag card to next column
• Form: Change stage in status bar

Send Offer

Step 1: Reach Contract Stage

Advance application to “Second Interview” or “Contract Proposal” stage.

Step 2: Click Send Offer

1. In application form, click Send Offer button
2. Opens Placement Officer Wizard

Step 4: Confirm Offer

Click Confirm:

1. Creates op.placement.offer record
2. Sends offer email to student
3. Updates application as offered

Bulk Application Processing

Select Multiple Applications

1. In list view, check multiple records
2. Use Action menu for bulk operations

Available Bulk Actions

• Export selected
• Move to stage
• Archive/unarchive

Application Scoring

Automatic Final Score

System computes average:

Final Score = (Written + Interview + GD) / 3

Scoring Criteria

Score Range	Assessment
90-100	Excellent
75-89	Good
60-74	Satisfactory
Below 60	Needs Improvement

Email Notifications

Automatic Emails

System sends emails at:

• Application submission (to cell)
• Stage advancement (to student)
• Offer sent (to student)
• Offer accepted (to company)

Troubleshooting

Cannot advance stage

Check:

• You have manager permissions
• Required fields are filled
• Validation rules passed

Send Offer button not visible

Verify:

• Application in correct stage
• User has manager role
• Company is set on announcement

Scores not calculating

Ensure:

• All score fields have values
• Values are numeric
• Form is saved
