Set up placement coordination teams to manage campus recruitment and student placements.

  • User accounts for team members

Placement Cell Purpose

A placement cell is a coordination team that:

  • Manages campus recruitment drives
  • Liaises with companies
  • Coordinates student applications
  • Tracks placement outcomes

Create a Placement Cell

Step 1: Navigate to Placement Cells

  1. Go to OpenEduCatPlacementPlacement Cells
  2. Click Create

Step 2: Enter Cell Details

Step 3: Add Team Members

In the Members section:

  1. Click Add a line
  2. Select team member users
  3. Repeat for all members

Step 4: Save

Click Save. Cell is ready for use.

Assign Cell to Job Announcements

When creating job opportunities:

  1. Create new activity announcement
  2. Select Handled By field
  3. Choose appropriate placement cell
  4. Cell coordinates the recruitment
