Record Discipline Incidents
Document and track student behavioral incidents with detailed information and evidence.
Time required: 5-10 minutes
Prerequisites
- Discipline Manager or Faculty role
- Misbehavior categories configured
- Student record exists
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Discipline
- Go to OpenEduCat -> Discipline -> Discipline Records
- Click Create
Step 2: Select Student

Step 3: Enter Incident Details

Step 4: Describe the Incident
In the Description field, document:
- Exactly what happened
- Who was involved
- What led to the incident
- Immediate actions taken
- Witness information
Step 5: Set Severity Level

Step 6: Attach Evidence
Upload supporting materials:
- Photographs
- Written statements
- Video clips
- Previous incident records
Step 7: Save Incident
Click Save to record the incident.
After Recording
Review Options
After saving, you can:

Check student’s discipline history:
- Click View History on student record
- See all past incidents
- Review patterns

Configure categories at: Discipline -> Configuration -> Categories

Confidentiality
Discipline records are confidential:

Troubleshooting
Cannot create record
Check:
- You have discipline permissions
- Student is active in system
- All required fields filled
Student not found
Verify:
- Student enrollment status
- Correct course/batch selected
- Name spelling
