Configure Billing Products

Set up products for fee billing including tuition, examination fees, and other charges.

Time required: 10-15 minutes per product

Module: product, openeducat_fees, openeducat_fees_enterprise

User role: System Administrator, Accounts Admin

Prerequisites

System Administrator or Accounts Admin role
Fee categories defined
Tax configuration (if applicable)

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Products

Go to Invoicing/Accounting -> Customers -> Products
Or OpenEduCat -> Fees -> Configuration -> Products
Click Create

Step 2: Enter Product Information

Step 3: Configure Product Category

Step 7: Save Product

Click Save to create the billing product.

Troubleshooting

Product not appearing in fee structure

Ensure product is marked as Fee Product and is Active.

Wrong amount on invoice

Check product sales price and any discounts applied.

Tax not calculating

Verify tax is assigned and tax configuration is correct.
